ValuSect

The ValuSect project, part of the Interreg North-West Europe Programme, The ValuSect project is dedicated to gain and disseminate knowledge on insects relevant to the entire supply chain, from breeders to consumers. Its aspiration is to position insects as an integral part of the future's more sustainable diet in North-West Europe. ValuSect primary focusses on four insect species currently considered highly promising for food and feed purposes: the yellow mealworm, house cricket, migratory locust, and the black soldier fly. This initiative covers many aspects including insect production, reproduction, processing, application, and consumption. This valuable information is made publicly available to various target groups through this website
